Rebuilding Southern Sudan: Church and Nation - Safe Drinking Wa

Amount Raised $0.00
Team Goal $0.00
Training is needed to make unclean water safe for drinking. This project proposes that where there surface water exists a water purifier system would allow water to be pumped from the river. Where there is no surface water, boreholes would be drilled. It is envisioned that when a filtration/purification project is completed, responsibility would be handed over to the village (local government) authority or the community for both maintenance and to develop a sense of ownership. Success in reducing disease is an anticipated outcome and a prime motivating factor for local volunteers to become involved with the project.

Activities surrounding drilling boreholes and training in sanitation will include evangelism and church planting, discipleship making, and church leadership training.
