The Orphan Support project supports children who have lost their parents due to HIV/AIDS. The areas of support focus on fulfilling personal basic needs; such as education, health and spiritual development to enable the children to lead a secure life. The project looks to ensure that the children are given the opportunity to develop a sustainable future - in addition to committing to provide schooling for the children to age 18. The project will also consider vocational training and developing small businesses / income generating schemes where these are felt to be appropriate.
In order to meet the spiritual needs of these children, strong links are made with various local churches to strengthen what the project staff is doing, by introducing various methods of sharing the gospel with them.
