The Langano Library Project is a project to develop the physical plant for a school library with an eye toward developing a media center. This project would be a 6 X 8 meter addition added onto one of the existing block buildings.
There are no libraries in the immediate Langano area. The Langano School has a 1500 book collection that is housed currently in the pedagogical center and a classroom. Students come to this space to look at books and attempt to improve their English skills. At the moment most of the books are in English and have been donated to the school. The children are allowed to take these books home on a limited basis. The accessibility of books and a reading space is now attracting students from neighboring schools.
