Luampa Hospital is a well-established rural 103-bed general hospital in Western Province, serving under the auspices of the Evangelical Church in Zambia with the goal of glorifying God through a balanced ministry of compassionate health care (both in-hospital and in-community) along with evangelism and discipleship.
The Luampa team is strategically involved in a wide range of ministries: Medical work serving and presenting the Gospel to tens of thousands of the poorest of Zambia each year; outreach into fourteen nearby communities with maternal/child health care, health education, water & sanitation, TB/AIDS care and treatment, and church ministry; leadership training through a one-year Bible School program; literature and children's ministries; and Bible translation.
Expanding the work with orphans is a key and current interest.
