Gideon Theological College

Gideon Theological College is the only higher level theological school of the SIM-related Sudan Interior Church (SIC). It provides for the training of all SIC pastors and evangelists through Arabic and English diploma level programmes and an English Bachelor of Theology program. It also provides a 2 year Certicate in Christian Service (CCS) for the wives of married students. The school is a joint effort of the Sudan United Mission, now called Action Partners, the SUM-related Sudan Church of Christ (SCOC), SIM and SIC. This project seeks to provide funds to assist with the basic annual operating costs of Gideon Theological College plus scholarship assistance for SIC students attending the college. The Sudanese churches make staff available for the college but do not have the funds to cover their salaries or to provide for their student's living expenses while they are attending school.
