An increase in demand of hospital services requires a quality standard of care for the hospital to effectively achieve a level of sustainability. There is a need to upgrade the existing structure in order to meet the standards for rendering quality service to Nigeriens. The clients are not only from the small Christian community, but also the larger Muslim population.
This project includes the building of rooms for: physiotherapy, radiology (x-ray), a 12 bedded ward with toilet, and hospital staff. Further, the installation of an intercom communication system and renovation of an operation room and the pharmacy department, and upgrading of the laboratory department equipment. Finally, expansion of the pharmacy department for the Danja dispensary and leprosy hospital.
