Lulisandla Kumntwana is a church and community based project ministering to orphans who live in the community around Mseleni.

Lulisandla Kumntwana's ministry began in 2002, caring for orphans and other vulnerable children and their families. Registered with the Department of Welfare and closely connected with the Mseleni Hospital, the home cares for dozens of children who have been abandoned, abused or come from dysfunctional families. It is estimated that about 800 additional children are orphaned yearly.

The staff comprises 41 teams involving 260 volunteers from local churches, a project director, 2 social workers, 2 coordinators, a youth coordinator who runs the psychosocial workshops and a clerk.

Funds are needed to continue caring for the current case load as well as expand so as to encompass the entire area served by Mseleni Hospital.
