Vesico-vaginal fistula (VVF) is a physical condition which means many Muslim women are shunned by their communities. Approximately 40 patients a month seek treatment at the 50-bed Bingham University Teaching Hospital. Providing low cost treatment facilitates evangelistic outreach opportunities to these women, gives training in VVF treatment, and increases church and community awareness of VVF.
