Trinity Dental Clinic and Training Center - ELWA

The Trinity Dental Clinic's (“TDC”) mission is “To improve the quality and accessibility of oral health care and education in Liberia and West Africa by providing dental education, affordable surgeries and treatments, and to offer hope to a broken nation.” Through the provision of dental care in a compassionate and professional way, TDC hopes to open the door for people to hear the gospel of Christ and experience His love in a tangible way. Clients will be given opportunities to hear a gospel presentation and receive Christian teaching and encouragement along with dental education and care. TDC will be established on the ELWA campus just outside the capital city of Monrovia. TDC may also operate at satellite clinics to increase accessibility. Surgical procedures will be performed in the ELWA Hospital operating room. This current project plan includes expansion of the existing dental clinic at ELWA, and outfitting of a “satellite” clinic.

Further visions for development include: having a separate building on ELWA campus with 6 treatment rooms, laboratory, business offices, and 2 apartments for volunteer dentists and staff; establishing and staffing additional satellite clinics around Liberia; and a Dental Therapist Training School.
