Famine Relief For Vulnerable Groups In Zimbabwe

Amount Raised $0.00
Team Goal $0.00
Crop failure due to drought has left populations in 5 church districts of South Eastern Zimbabwe vulnerable. Help is needed for the sick, elderly, orphaned children and people on anti retroviral drugs (ARVs). An immune enhencing porridge called SEJO and an energy giving local drink called Mahewu are two food products on which people depend when there is a poor harvest. The cost of imported food into Zimbabwe is prohibitive and efforts are being made to build capacity for households to produce their own food. Devotions are held at each distribution event to encourage and strengthen the people in worshipping God.
