The UBC Pastor's Support project continues to assist in the support of the United Baptist Church pastors. The Zimbabwe economy has rendered such a project as this paramount due to extenuating circumstances such as macro-hyper inflation and the collapse of the Zimbabwe economy and currency. Consequently, Church members are unable to fulfill their biblical obligation to fully support the local pastors. This has become a critical (although temporal) situation in that the future of the Church is genuinely threatened.
The main objective of the project is to provide diminishing salary assistance to the Church during the next several years allowing external dependency to be eliminated and biblical tithing re-instituted.
